This is the most amazing thing i have heard all week! Art Club is a new event on the Oh really calendar. Its a Sunday afternoon of art making, swapping, discussion and sketching. We will be throwing a bunch of cushions and milk crates around the gallery, playing some beats, cooking up some chai tea and getting busy creatively. Hopefully it can become a kind of forum for artists, strengthening the local community and forming some unlikely collaborations. Artists also have the opportunity to tack their work to the walls and sell them throughout the afternoon. Our hope is for people to inspire each other and mix it up, swap stickers and ideas, make paste-ups whatever. Some materials will be provided, but we ask that you bring your sketchbook and pencil case and whatever else you might like to use. Art Club is an alcohol free event and all are welcome. The first art club kicks off on Sunday the 15th of August, running from 12-6pm.
